The Iranian architectural designer Kaveh Najafian stands out with his collection, which he created using Midjourney after numerous successes in architectural projects.
Born in 1982 in Tehran, Iran, architect Kaveh Najafian has been living in Vienna for years and has worked on renowned projects worldwide. The multifaceted designer recently launched his personal Instagram account contingency_plans into an impressive exhibition platform on which he shows breathtaking visualizations created using Midjourney.
From architectural to fashion design: a masterful transformation
As an accomplished architectural designer, Najafian is open to the use of AI tools, dares to step outside the boundaries of his own design discipline and is keen to experiment. After having already started with the design of an alternative, maximalist façade for the Palace of Versailles, a parallel project to his work at Midjourney, caused a sensation, the designer is now increasingly shifting his focus to fashion design. In these experimental creations, the artist explores the infinite spectrum of colors, shapes and textures.
His latest works are clearly inspired by the unique shapes of various world alphabets. Kaveh Najafian has created a distinctly feminine haute couture collection that he calls "Dancing Alphabets". For these designs, he used Midjourney 6.0 and Magnific AI technologies and was guided by calligraphic beauty.
The artist skillfully adapts the flowing and elegant forms of the Arabic and Persian alphabets for his haute couture pieces and also finds inspiration in other writing systems, such as Mayan glyphs and the Korean alphabet.
Expectations are high that the artist's aesthetic creations will soon be made available in printed form and thus accessible to a wider audience.
